In Touch Volume 6 Issue 1 - Spring 2007

From the editor

When we went to press with the Winter issue of In Touch, the news of Fr Murtagh’s retirement had not been made public. Now he is enjoying a well-earned rest, and Fr Barry Hughes has come to St Columba’s. The editorial team is very grateful to Fr Murtagh for his support for us, and the magazine, and most appreciative of Fr Barry’s willingness to write for us – and to be featured in a major article which I am sure you will all find fascinating.

Thanks to all our contributors – especially those who have written for us for the first time – we hope you’ll write for us again. Perhaps some of you who have not yet written for the magazine may be either encouraged or provoked to write something by the content of this issue!

Thanks as always to the editorial team for their cheerfulness and hard work. I hope you enjoy the result.
