Writing competition for young people

Following the success of our competition last year we have decided to hold another story writing competition open to all young people in the parish. The prizes will be tokens valid for DVDs, CDs, books or gifts and the winning story will be published in the Summer edition of ‘In Touch’ due out in July.

Perhaps you enjoy writing? Maybe you only write for school or college? Whatever, why not have a go? Here are the details :-

The topic is ‘A Good Samaritan’.
The story should be anything from 100 to a maximum of 500 words long.
The story must be titled and include the author’s name and age.
The closing date for entries is May 7th 2006. A reminder will appear in the weekly newsletter before the closing date.

Send your story to the Editor, Tricia Steel at tricia_steel@hotmail.com or deliver it via the Presbytery. (NB: Please keep a copy as the editorial committee will not be able to return your work)
