Gift aid
Do You Pay Tax? If so then you can boost your donations to your parish by 28% without giving any extra!
The Diocese of Southwark is a registered charity and the Parish of St Columba can recover the tax you have already paid on any income (wage, salary, pension or investment income).
You do not have to make a binding commitment. You can contribute any amounts at any time and the parish will only claim tax back on the actual amounts you donate. To do this, we need to be able to prove to the Inland Revenue that we have kept proper records of Gift Aid donations.
Simply complete a Gift Aid Declaration and hand it in to Father Murtagh, Deacon Philip or one of the parish Gift Aid organizers.
Then, make your contributions in the Gift Aid envelope provided, or by standing order or by cheque. It is really that simple. You can start contributing under the Gift Aid scheme at any time.
For more information contact Father Murtagh, Deacon Philip, or the Gift Aid Organisers for St Columbas:
