Well what a bonus was in store
To meet this young man and have memories galore
When he was Baptised he turned to me
And asked if I a sponsor would be.
It was a pleasure to see his faith grow
The spirit of God was in him, for I should know
No other faith was as great as his
When he had the tumour and time was short.
Never a word of . . . Oh! God! Why me?
He was glad to be chosen to be 'set free'
Although Paul was only twenty five years
He was a credit to his peers.
Now in Heaven he must surely be
A token of "faithfulness" for all to see!!!!
